Intensive Moscow's Assaults Disrupt Power Across Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
The country's energy systems have faced increased strikes in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have caused electricity outages in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were wounded while inhabitants in the city's east were left without electricity and dealt with interruptions to water supplies, per reports from municipal leaders.

Simultaneously, a minor was killed in a distinct assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, as reported by regional authorities.

Moscow has increased attacks on energy facilities over recent weeks, while officials has called for "real steps" from partner nations to apply pressure on Russia.

"The necessity is not window dressing but strong steps - from the US, European nations and the Group of Seven - in supplying air defence systems and applying penalties," mentioned in a public message.

Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and over thirty missiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and technical staff were laboring to repair systems.

A series of attacks damaged power facilities and civilian homes in the capital.

Multiple people wounded in the strikes on the city have been hospitalized, per statements from municipal representatives.

Regional authorities said the city came under intense attacks overnight. A seven-year-old child was killed and three other people were hurt.

The strikes follow nights of bombing campaigns in the territory, sections of which are currently controlled by Russian forces.

All of Ukraine is in a state of readiness for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to spot.

National leaders told journalists that Moscow was deliberately attempting to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with attacks already affecting energy systems.

Authorities confirmed utility staff and government agencies were preparing for further attacks.
